After my trip to Bhutan, I stopped for three days in Thailand on the way home.  My hotel was located in Bangkok, but I spent two days making day trips outside the city.  One day I visited Ayutthaya, and the next day I saw the floating market.  After the harsh conditions of Bhutan, it was wonderful to treat myself to unlimited showers, three evenings of spa treatments, and delicious Thai food.
